I actually have a lot of problems to send the MIDI clock. Something like Finale or Sibelius can get you in the ball park just by plugging in the notes and articulation markings.but a serious mock up may well require you at least fiddle with the convolution and reverb settings by hand, or a bit of in depth tweaking to drop in extra controller messages and/or smarten up your scoring packages.
As the name implies, Jorgan is based on JAVA. Reads audio from Virtual Audio Cable no problem through live button so no need for queuing. Has your development team considered doing a Windows build based upon JAVA? (I am an avid Jorgan user, a VTPO available from Sourceforge. That makes me suspect that the glitches may be mostly related to the Windows XP (SP3) operating system.

They all work fine, yet I cannot get all 4 channels to work in Aria Player. I am adding an external sound card and successfully creating two aggregates in Audio Midi Setup. This software has wonderful potential, and I am very thankful to the Musescore development team for its tremendous efforts and fair results. I am using a MacBook with one built-in audio output (channels 1/2). While the job eventually got done with beautiful results, numerous glitches, lockups and some crashes occurred along the way, and, in desperation, the final score formatting was done through screenshots and a third party graphics editor. The task of producing a 4.5 mi nute professional looking vocal solo with piano accompaniment proved daunting, to say the least. I used 1.3 on a nine year old Celeron PC with 500mb/ram. No one likes seeing distracted drivers on the road, but Jason Humphreys went a step too far (several, really) in trying to combat the problem. Ran about as well as a ballpoint pen that skips badly!.
